Charles became a partner with Redfern Stigant in 1980. He joined Stephens & Son as a partner on their merger with Redfern Stigant on the 1st August 2011.
Charles has a considerable amount of experience in dealing with all types of civil litigation in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. This includes contract and property disputes, judicial review, landlord and tenant, contentious probate, partnership and other business disputes. Several of his cases have appeared in the Law Reports, attracting interest from television and other national news media. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Zebrugge Solicitors Group, dealing with claims arising from the Zebrugge Ferry Disaster.
Charles also deals with employment law, acting for both employers and employees, including drafting Compromise Agreements and Contracts of Employment.
